SO West Dorset District Council has finally agreed to remove the hated pinch point at West Bay!

But, it says, it is subject to a ‘safety audit’ before removing it, and not until next spring.

If a ‘safety audit’ is so essential, it would have presumably carried one out before putting in the pinch point in the first place.

Did it not show how dangerous it was?

Or were West Dorset’s ‘experts’ blind to the potential hazard?

Everybody I talk to regards it as an accident waiting to happen.

Perhaps WDDC would care to publish it so we can all see.

As I always say, ‘Noah’s Ark was built by an amateur and the Titanic was designed by experts’.
