Our bingo evening in Bridport was a great success.
Some 35 people enjoyed the calling and ‘banter’ ably supplied by my son and daughter Emma and James.
Between the bingo, raffle and tea sales £339 was raised on the night.
This is being added to the money already raised, to go towards the Cough Assist Machine for Poole Hospital on behalf of the Myasthenia Gravis Association.
The raffle table and bingo prizes were donated by family, friends and local businesses. We would like to say a massive thank you to Timepiece of Gillingham, Longs, Good News, Chantelles, Ninas, Co-op, Bradpole PO, Smith & Smith, Olive Tree, Riverside of West Bay, Chris Butler, Linda Harvey, Mo Kennedy and John & Veda Bull.
Once again thanks so much to everyone who attended and supported us, and to all my willing helpers.
£65 was also raised the following day at the Symene Fete, for the same cause.
