WELL done the carnival committee, helpers and all who took part on the worst Saturday we have had for months, but there’s always one.
Can something be done next year with the over-loud music on the procession. It was from the Chickerell float. It went right through you, even after it had passed by.
And why is there still half a tree trunk in South Street?
Who cut the top off?
It’s been like that for weeks now although at least it was decorated for the carnival.
As yet, no new trees have been replaced in the Rope Walks car park – only the empty spaces are left.
And lastly on the subject of the pinch point by Haddon House Hotel at West Bay.
The council will not change it, because they would have to admit they are wrong.
There’s £10 to the Myasthenia Gravis fund, run by Lyn and Tony Hatch, if they do change it back before next year.
