MEMBERS of Chard Swimming Club gained some fantastic results in three different events.
As well as taking part in round two of the Junior League in Weston-super-Mare, the club also sent swimmers to the Exeter Open Meet and the Millfield Meet of Legends.
Seventeen members competed at Exeter over the two days where they captured a host of medals and many personal best times.
Hannah Pullinger (15) ach-ieved gold med-als in all her events, winning the 200m free-style, 100m breaststroke, 100m backstroke, 50m breaststroke and 50m free-style, and there were other first-placed finishes for Ben Fowler (15) in the 50m and 100m back, and Iain Ross (11) in the 400m freestyle.
Lewis Pearson (11) also waded in with silver in the 200m freestyle, while bronze medals went to Fowler (15) in the 200m back, Lauren Harrison (14) in the 400m freestyle and 400m individual medley, and Lewis Pearson (11) 50m freestyle.
Other swimmers that took part in Exeter included Paul Harrison and Bea Brett, with Jake Hallam, Luke van den Bar-selaar and Lauren van den Barselaar having all competed at Millfield.
