It was a close affair at Lyme Regis Golf Club as the latest ladies section competition took place last weekend.
In what was a fun three ball bowmaker, with the two best scores counting, as the teams took to the course on Timber HIll for a morning of fun yet competitive golf.
The results were close with just seven shots separating teams from second to tenth place, but the winners Ros Clemmans, Di Harris and Wendy Mann stormed to victory with an impressive 69 points as they edged out their nearest rivals to claim victory.
Just two shots behind with 67 points, and claiming the runner up spot, were Debbie Shinners, Julie Kabia and Irene Fairley.
Following the golf, many of the ladies taking part had lunch together at the club house where they enjoyed some the club's lunch specials.
The 18 hole par 71 course is an England Golf Championship Course and has recently hosted the Dorset County Championships and the English Girls U16/U14 Amateur Championships.
It boasts coastal views towards Portland Bill and overlooks Lyme Regis, offering a challenging test, with a sea breeze, ideal for all abilities.
