LYME REGIS 0
LAPFORD 6
LYME Regis sustained their heaviest home loss of the season as Lapford conquered Davey Fort with a 6-0 victory in the Devon & Exeter League Premier Division.
Ryan Clarke and Mark Tucker put Lapford into a 2-0 half-time lead, before the Seasiders subsided in the second period.
Tucker’s second, plus three more goals from Dom Stapleton, Chris Burrows and Dan Tucker gave the Devon side an emphatic victory.
Lyme’s brightest moments in front of goal came from fruitless shots by Mike Calverley, who was later sent off, and Nathan Womersley.

Lyme also ended with nine men after Ben Turner went off with sickness caused by a head injury.
Lyme boss Kevin Turner admitted his team simply did not turn up.
He said: “It was really disappointing after the cup game against Alphington where everyone put a shift in. We were just going through the motions.
“We played into their strengths. They’re a big side, very physical and we just kept lumping it up in the air, they were winning everything.
“We just didn’t turn up and we didn’t really trouble their keeper at all. It looked like they didn’t want to be there.”
Lyme have a four-week break over Christmas and return to action at home to Crediton United Seconds on Saturday, January 13.
