LYME Regis manager Kevin Turner believes Winkleigh represent an unknown quantity for the Seasiders this weekend.
Winkleigh won the Devon & Exeter League Division One title in the 2022/23 season and have made a solid start to life in the Premier Division.
The Reds are unbeaten after three games, winning once and drawing the other two, currently occupying fourth spot.
They represent another good test for Lyme, who come into the contest fresh from a week off after their match against Elmore Seconds was postponed.
Turner told the Bridport & Lyme Regis News: “Just talking to the Lapford lot, a few players went (to Winkleigh) from there.

“It’s another long trip, nice to get it out of the way early rather than later on and I’ve got a full side to pick from.
“Hopefully we can just kick on from that Lapford win. People will be fighting for their places.”
Asked if he was fully versed in Winkleigh, Turner said: “No, not at all. Last time we played them was about ten years ago.
“I think from what I can gather, the players move around depending on how well the teams do.
“It’s going to be another battle.”
Lyme did have a minor concern over Alex Rowe but he came through an hour with Lyme’s reserves.
