MICKY Hunt has succeeded Julien Simier as the new permanent Lyme Regis manager.
Hunt, a physical education teacher, includes spells at Penryn Athletic, Bovey Tracey, Kingsteignton, Callington and Plymstock on his managerial CV.
He takes over the Seasiders’ hotseat after interim boss Rob Fellingham, appointed caretaker after Simier’s sacking, decided against going for the role full-time.
Hunt has a background in coaching, having worked at the JH8 Football Academy.

Hunt left Kingsteignton Athletic in July 2021 to take up the top job at Bovey Tracey in the South West Peninsula League Premier East.
He was later joined at Bovey in a co-boss arrangement with Liam Raybould some three months later, before both men left the club prior to Christmas.
In April 2022, Hunt took over as manager at South West Peninsula League Premier West side Penryn Athletic.
However, after succeeding Harry Pope, he walked away from the job just two months later.
Hunt has already made the first signing of his tenure, bringing in former Bridport, Beaminster and Chard striker Mike Calverley to Davey Fort.
The Seasiders begin their pre-season campaign at Swanage on Saturday, July 15 before visiting Bridport ten days later.
Lyme host Sherborne Reserves on Tuesday, August 1 and travel to Dorchester Sports three days later.
Lyme end pre-season with home matches against Wellington Reserves and East Budleigh.
