TEENAGE talent Zac Mudford has become the youngest-ever winner of the Dorset County Championships.
Lyme Regis Golf Club star Mudford, 16, is only the second player from the club to win the prestigious county title.
Nick Hopwood, from Ferndown Golf Club, finished runner-up in an extremely high-quality final at the magnificently-presented Broadstone Golf Club.
Under intense pressure, both players were addressing their sixth round in three days.

Elsewhere, Gary Earl from Ferndown Golf Club won the Dorset County Seniors title.
Scoring 71 and 75 for a two-over total, in testing conditions on a superbly presented Parkstone course, Earl claimed victory over his long-time pal Philip Bill by just one shot.
Bill, also from Ferndown, was the winner of the nett Championship with Yeovil Golf Club’s John Pounder third in the main event as a single shot separated all three players.
John Smith of Parkstone, won the Over-65 gross prize with Knighton Heath’s Robert Dilkes winning the nett prize.
Stephen Robinson (Weymouth), Rhys Francis (Parkstone) and Mark Stickley (Came Down) all claimed podium spots and received prizes.
