LYME Regis Bowls Club held the 64th running of their Open Tournament – and spectators were treated to a bonanza of bowls.
Not only was the event blessed with excellent bowling and near perfect weather, players and fans alike from a plethora of local clubs turned up to watch.
The tournament was officially opened by the Mayor, Cllr Michaela Ellis, who delivered the first wood.
And the competitors thrived in the pristine conditions, Simon Doig taking victory in the men's singles and Sally Batt triumphing in the ladies' singles.
Carl Stephens and Steve Pomeroy won the open pairs, while Joe Wahnon, Roy Burnett and Dan Steadman claimed glory in the open triples.

Greenkeepers, Barry Rattenbury and Steve Pomeroy, were responsible for producing superb conditions, while catering officer Avril Sherring and her helpers kept everyone fed throughout the six days.
Bar manager Rattenbury and his staff also kept the thirsty players and supporters well watered.
Finally, Lyme Regis wished to thank sponsors Wakeleys Funeral Services who once again were very generous in their support of the event.
