LYME REGIS 4
AXMINSTER TOWN RES 0
LYME Regis star Fred Parsons continued his unstoppable recent form with a hand in all four goals as the Seasiders beat Axminster Town Reserves 4-0.
The Davey Fort crowd were treated to a clinic in the centre of the park from the tall midfielder, who grabbed a hat-trick and also registered an assist.
Parsons now has six goals in three games and his treble took him above Joe Bond in Lyme’s goalscoring charts.
Parsons has looked like a new signing ever since returning from a brief spell at Bridport Reserves.
He now has nine goals in 10 games for Lyme, one ahead of prolific striker Bond.

However, Lyme could be without their star man for the trip to Ottery St Mary Seconds on Saturday due to family reasons.
Should he miss out, Lyme will be without a player who put them 2-0 up early on against Axminster with two composed finishes.
The Tigers did hit the bar in the second half but a fourth goal of the season for Mark Bailey put the result beyond doubt.
And there was still time for Parsons to grab his hat-trick five minutes from time.
Victory moved Lyme into seventh place in the Devon & Exeter League Premier Division table.
Joining Parsons as a doubt to face Ottery on Saturday is Brad Rowe, but Bond returns.
Lyme: Bailey, H Brimicombe, Fowler, Fellingham, Garrett, Higgs, Knight, Parsons, R Sargent, Turner, K Wellman. Subs on: Batey, Rendell, A Rowe.
