RACHAEL GREEN snatched the Wessex Point-to-Point Lady Riders' Championship after a stunning 2007 campaign.
Green, who is stable jockey at Richard Barber's Seaborough-based yard, notched up 82 points over the season to out-point closest rival Polly Gundry by 22.
Diana Hobbs, daughter of National Hunt master trainer Philip Hobbs, won the novice title while Ian Chanin bagged the gong for the leading gentleman rider.
The annual presentation of awards will be made at the Wessex Area Dinner and Dance on Friday, September 28, at the Westland Sports and Social Club, Yeovil.
