Bridport Barracudas bagged second spot at the third round of the Jurassic League, finishing just five points adrift of winners Heron.

Among the race winners were Yasmin Chick, Matt Cracknell, Zoe Robertson, Rebecca Beal, John Brown, Ben Irish, Jordan Chick, Jo Boyer, Samuel Clark, Dan Elliott, Luke Robertson, Nathanial Wormleighton, Sophie Dawe, Clare Scarborough, Dan Dew, Tom Roberts-Wray, Matt Green-wood, Elena Wood and Helen Foote.
Second place finishes were achieved by Jordan Chick, Jonathon Greenwood, Bro-wn, Boyer, Yasmin Chick, Flore Coleberd, Chloe Diment, Kershaw, Elena Wood, Beal, David Mclaren, Matt West, Clark and Robertson.
Third place positions went to Kershaw, Wormleighton, Mclaren, Elizabeth Crocker, Esme Diment, Wood, Maisie Amos, Roberts-Wray, Dew, Holly Cooper, Beal, Jasmin Chick, West and Cracknell.
Head coach Tina Dawe said: “The third round was the toughest so far with Heron keeping the pressure on, although the last round in July is still there for the taking.
“Best swim of the evening without doubt goes to Elena Wood swimming in the maximum events for her age group and then at short notice swimming up an age group, taking first place.”
