Balti Sports 1
Bridport Reserves 3
Bridport progressed to the next round of the Dorset Senior Trophy after producing a comeback win against Weymouth-based Balti Sports.
The Bees, once again, found themselves a goal behind early in the game after an unfortunate bounce fell to a Balti striker to prod home.
The Bees then had keeper Archie Kershaw to thank for keeping the score at 1-0 when he produced a fine one on one save.
As the half progressed, Bridport managed to gain control of the game and found gaps between the lines and out wide.
Shortly before the break, fine work from Dan Sheehy opened up the Balti defence and Sol Padmore cut the ball back for Noah House to emphatically find the top corner.
The Bees were far better in the second half - keeping possession for longer spells and being tidier in the final third.
In the 60th minute Ash Smith produced a 40-yard cross ball to Noah House who took the ball down and lob the advancing keeper - a fine finish.
Five minutes later House was brought down in the box and he stepped up and sent the Balti keeper the wrong way. A brilliant clinical hat trick, something that has been missing from team this season.
Bridport were unable to kill the game when creating further opportunities and when captain Jake Mansley was sin-binned, along with an late injury, meant the Bees had to see the last five minutes out with nine men.
