BRIDPORT will be without one of their key players for the visit of Hamble Club on Saturday.
Bees boss Chris Herbst has lamented the sending off of James Cox, labelling the players dismissal against Launceston as 'stupid'.
The winger was caught up in a tussle with one of Launceston's players and proceeded to wrestle the player to the ground right in front of the referee - moment Herbst has described as Cox seeing 'red mist'.
It now means that the winger will miss the mammoth FA Vase game with Hamble Club on Saturday.
Speaking about the sending off, Herbst said: "Annonigly we had a stupid sending off - its just silly- but we have got to stop these mistakes.
"He will be missing for a big game, it was just a bit of seeing red mist from Coxy these are the games you want to play in and he will be missed."
Another player to miss the game will be Will Gape who is still returning from a slight groin injury but Herbst is pleased with the amount of players at his disposal for the game.
He added: "We have plenty to pick from so it is a good headache to have.
