Bernard Perry, Jim Collier and Brian Suffling's Kestrels beat Strollers 10-9. Ron and Lorraine Hill and Jim Kelly's Five Tops and Frank Ward, Mike Evans and Mike Fletcher's Sylvia's All Stars 14-7, 10-7 up respectively over Harrier's and Bandits.
Lyn and Peter Sandall and Den Tappings's Bubbles were the sensations in the Evening League, destroying the leading Peanuts 22-4.
Mary Hansford, Penny Pither and Marsh's Spurs beat Optimists 13-4 to go second.
It was a draw for Brian Earl and Sharon and Les Heath's Pirates against Lorna Wallis, John Davis and Heather Thomson's Shadows, ending 12-12
Dave Heiden, Dave Aylott and Mair's More Green drew 9-9 against Liz Walker, Linda Leaf and Ron Hill's Blythe Spirits.
There was another 9-9 draw for Irene Green, Gordon Lee and Wotherspoon's Devils against Hargett, Elaine Marshall and Nick Edwards Wrong Bias.
