Bridport will be looking to kick-start their season with a win against Torrington on Saturday (3pm).

The Bees travel to Devon in their next Walter C Parson Peninsula League game this weekend and nothing short of win will do for manager Chris Herbst.

After defeats to Teignmouth and Sidworth, the Bees coach is demanding his side take all three points against Devon-based side Torrington.

Speaking to the News, he said: "We have got to go and win and we want nothing else.

"The performances are not too far away and we just need to sharpen up.

"It is a difficult place to go but we beat them there last year  and we should be confident.

"We finished fourth last season and we have improved the squad so there is no reason we can't go there and get a result."

Herbst has no injuries concerns to contend with going into Saturday's game and is please to welcome back midfielder Will Gape to the fold.

He also hinted that Issac House is pushing for starting berth after impressing with a goal off the bench against Sidmouth.

Herbst added: "Issac could start and Will is in contention and is available again and there are no injuries so we are all good on that front."
