BEAMINSTER skipper Will Moss is targeting a winning reaction to last week’s hefty loss to Portland Red Triangle.
Moss leads his side against a vibrant and youthful Wimborne Seconds stacked with talent, although the Minstermen crumbled for 48 after bowling Weymouth out for 132 last week.
Beaminster are after their own sort of response having lost to Portland by 157 runs at Reforne last weekend.
Ahead of the clash at the Memorial Ground on Saturday (1pm), Moss outlined the performance he desires from his players this weekend.

He told the Bridport News: “We’ve got to look at it as a game we can target to win.
“We beat them at home last year and it was a good close game that ultimately kept us up.
“After their performance last weekend it’s one we’ll definitely look to capitalise on, for sure.
“I think we just need to take the fight to them and put more responsibility on us. Don’t give your wicket away cheaply, play for your team and show some fight.
“It’s what we’ve kind of been lacking, really.”
Beaminster are without 16 players this weekend, including Adam Moss, Ollie Bareham, Ollie Hey, Tim Hey and Ben Golledge from last week.
Moss will make a late decision on selection but has Dan Hillier, Chris Park and Ben Padwick to call upon.
