BRIDPORT have been forced to call off this weekend's home fixture with Elburton Villa due to flooding at St Mary's Field.
Unfortunately, the Bees suffered flooding of their Beehive clubhouse earlier in the week.
A huge clean-up operation, led by numerous volunteers, was successful in restoring normality to the community hub, although sections of the pitch remained under water.
However, further heavy prolonged rainfall on Thursday has caused the River Brit to burst its banks for a second time, leaving the majority of the ground submerged.

The Beehive has once more been affected and the Bees have had little alternative but to postpone the Elburton game.
Rescheduling of the fixture has already taken place, with Elburton now booked to visit west Dorset on Saturday, January 20 (2.15pm).
Bridport, who have gone three weeks without a match, now face a race against time to prepare their home turf for the Dorset Senior Cup quarter-final with Sherborne on Tuesday (7.30pm).
