BRIDPORT Amateur Boxing Club’s annual fight night thrilled a sell-out crowd at Freshwater Beach Holiday Park.
Competitors from across the south, including Land’s End, took part while some boxers travelled from as far as Coventry.
Illness and injuries meant only four Bridport boxers competed but the home fighters managed to deliver two wins for an expectant audience.
Seth Pady, on debut, took victory while Tommy Wilson won on points, although Logan Silvier and Pady’s fellow debutant Benjamin Hall suffered defeats.

Bridport ABC coach and event organiser Alan Slaney felt the night was a success.
He told the Bridport News: “We had a good crowd and everyone said they enjoyed it. We had four boys on in the end, with two winners. It was worth doing.
“We all had a good night and they all want to come again, so it can only be good for the club.”
Bridport and Slaney are expected to lay on another show night in 2024, although a date is yet to be confirmed.
