ST CATHERINE’S secured their own version of ‘La Decima’ after winning the Bridport Tag Rugby Festival for a tenth year in a row.
Bridport’s Brewery Ground hosted 12 local schools across two pools of six in this year's event, with the top two schools in each pool progressing to the semi-final.
St Catherine’s won through to face Symondsbury, while Thorner's met Broadwindsor in the two semi-finals.
And it was St Catherine’s and Thorner's who made it through to the final while Symondsbury and Broadwindsor vied for third place.

Symondsbury and Broadwindsor played superb rugby with a lot of tagging and tries being scored this led to an exciting match where Broadwindsor were the declared winners.
Attention moved to the final, a fast and furious game with action and tries at both ends of the pitch.
It was a very close game decided at the last minute, both schools playing outstanding rugby and, in the end, St Catherine’s were triumphant.
A Bridport RFC spokesperson said: “We would like to thank all schools for taking part in this year's tournament, and we look forward to next year's event.
“We would also like to thank the town mayor Dave Bolwell who attended this year's event and watched fantastic rugby from all schools. He presented the winning schools with their medals.”
