JACK Wright has agreed a deal with Pitching In Southern League Premier South side Hungerford Town, Echosport has learned.
Wright's move comes after his collapsed switch from Dorchester Town to Hamworthy United.
It disintegrated after Hamworthy withdrew from the Southern League, citing financial concerns amid the renovation of their County Ground home and subsequent ground share at Weymouth.
The centre-back, with two goals in nine appearances for Dorchester this season, turned out for Bridport in the South West Peninsula League Premier East on Saturday.
He played the full 90 minutes as Bridport won 2-1 at Okehampton Argyle, his first match for the Bees after moving from St Mary’s Field to Dorchester in mid-July.

However, he was not named in the Hungerford line-up that lost 4-1 to Walton & Hersham on Tuesday.
Earlier this week, Dorchester boss Tom Killick told the Dorset Echo the Avenue Stadium doors were “open” for the centre-half’s return.
However, neither the Magpies or the Bees will have Wright’s services when his Hungerford switch is completed.
Speaking to the Bridport News, Herbst gave a strong indication that Wright’s move to Hungerford is imminent.
Herbst said: “I was hoping to have him for a couple more games but he helped us out on Saturday.
“He’s quality and should be playing higher. It’s good for him. He agreed the move to Hungerford but he agreed to play for Bridport (on Saturday) and stuck to that.
“(Hungerford) said that was fine, so it was quality that he’s done that because he could’ve easily said no.
“It’s unreal. All the lads were buzzing for him and it was good to get him back just for a game.
“He gets on well with everyone and he’s still coming on our end-of-season do, he’s a good lad.
“I suppose a lot of Hamworthy players would’ve been in the same boat, their phones would’ve been going wild.”
