CATTISTOCK & SYMENE 196-9 (7pts) lost to SHERBORNE 200-6 (19pts) by four wickets
CATTISTOCK & Symene lost a Wessex Internet Dorset Premier League thriller to Sherborne by four wickets.
The presence of rain caused this 50-over clash to be reduced to 30 overs per side, Sherborne winning the toss and bowling first.
Cattistock & Symene got off to a fast start as Wes Lewis (16) hit four boundaries before Tim Durston (3-41) trapped him lbw.
Luke King (27) also scored well but the star of the show was Steve Tucker, the skipper smashing 82 from 53 balls, including seven maximums and five boundaries.

He was last man out as the Foxes posted a competitive 196-9.
In reply, Ollie Legg (1-24) took the massive wicket of Josh Lawrence (9) with a return catch.
However, Marc Roca (48) and Will Tatnam (46) laid a good platform and despite scalps for King (1-35), Robertson (1-25) and Robin Jones (2-24), Sherborne ended in a hurry.
Roger Parfitt cracked 26 from 14 balls and Durston finished unbeaten on 25 from 19 as the visitors won with eight balls to spare.
Tucker said: “It was a really good game of cricket given the weather and delayed start. We were one of the lucky ones to get a game in.
"With the bat, it was great to see some fight. Losing early wickets in the rain, it would have been easy to give up, but we worked hard to get to a very competitive total.
"I can't really criticise our efforts with the ball and in the field. Rain-affected games always favour the chasing side, but we made them work hard for the runs and took it deep. It just wasn't our day."
The Foxes next face unbeaten leaders Wimborne.
"Top of the league and unbeaten says it all really,” Tucker said. “It will be a challenge, especially with yet another weekend with players missing. It's a bit of a free hit for us.
"Town sides often don't like playing at Cattistock. Hopefully we can get stuck into them and give them a really good game."
Cattistock & Symene Seconds’ home clash with Winton was cancelled, while their thirds abandoned against Poole Fourths, both due to rain.
