SHEPTON BEAUCHAMP RES 1
DRIMPTON 10
DRIMPTON cruised into the Arthur Gage Cup semi-finals after a 10-1 demolition of Shepton Beauchamp Reserves.
After an even opening ten minutes, the visitors exploded into the game courtesy of a lovely strike from Josh Cousins.
Drimpton’s lead was extended a few minutes later when Max Dicker smashed in a 30-yarder.
Drimpton created numerous chances with the home keeper making some great stops but he could not keep the scoreline down as the Greens went into a comfortable 5-0 lead at half-time.

This gave Drimpton the opportunity to rest a few players and give some game time to the squad players.
Shepton got themselves a consolation when Drimpton switched off and the hard-working striker nipped in to finish well.
This only made Drimpton go up a gear and they added a further five goals before the final whistle as Cousins and Dicker ended up with quadruples, while Tom Franklin and Archie Trowbridge also netted.
Greens’ manager Andy Loudon said: "Another pleasing performance. We looked after the ball well again, we were able to give other players a good run out.
“We have some big games coming up over the next few weeks and I think we are in good shape.
“We need to concentrate for the full 90 minutes. All in all, a good win and we scored some great goals.”
Men of the match: Josh Cousins and Max Dicker.
