BALTI Sports have waived Bridport’s seven-day approach for Josh Grace ahead of their home clash with Shaftesbury Town Reserves tomorrow (3pm).
Bridport have held trials during March and versatile Grace, who can play in midfield or defence, has impressed the Bees enough to attract a dual registration offer.
However, Weymouth Under-23s man Grace has only played 12 times for Balti this season and boss Marco Nott admitted he was surprised Bridport, who currently play two leagues higher, have made an approach.
Nott told Echosport: “Josh has gone up there and we’ve waived the seven days for him.
“He’s available this weekend and it will be his last Saturday with us because I don’t think Bridport have got a game this weekend.

“He’s going to go with the first team and give it a go, which is a little bit surprising.
“He’s going on dual reg until the end of the season.
“We’ve only got six games left anyway, so he’s obviously going to go to Bridport next week and give it a go in the first team.
“We wish him all the best and we’ll see how he gets on.”
Balti, who are looking to avenge a 3-1 defeat by the Rockies earlier this season, are without Carl McClements but Ryan Dovell is available.
