BRIDPORT Barracuda swimmers claimed a stunning 17 medals from a successful weekend at the Poole Open, held in Dorchester.
Fifteen Bridport swimmers attended the event competing against other clubs within Dorset.
Will Caplen medalled in all five of his events with Oscar Vercoe, Rohan Vercoe, Daniel Hussey, Sam Westcott and Holly Symes all coming home with two medals each and Eva Cox and Lilly Shep both earning a medal each.
Symes also broke the club record for the 100m freestyle.
Head coach, Sophie Dawe, said: “I’m so proud of all of our Barracudas swimmers that competed, the personal best percentage was incredible and we came home with a fantastic number of medals.

Bridport Barracudas train at Bridport Leisure Centre and offer swimmers the chance to compete in galas locally, through to national opportunities.
