The weather was calm, warm and humid and there were 56 entries. Youngsters in their 60s were allowed to take part but did not of course, qualify for the cup. However, this was not an issue because they were out-scored by their senior colleagues who took the top five places on the leaderboard. Number six and top scorer for the youngsters was Dave Buckland with 36 points, whereas septuagenarian Mike Stockton amassed 41 points and won the cup.
RESULTS
Over-70s – 1 Mike Stokton (25) 41 points, 2 Gerald Allum (19) 39, 3 (on countback) Angus Nicoll(14) 38, 4 Dave Dowling (15) 38.

The five ladies who played on Saturday had a slightly calmer round than the 33 who played on Tuesday.
Having played so often without a breeze recently, the wind made for some challenging conditions.

Division C: Paula Cave (nett 71).
As the overall winner, Cave won the LGU brooch and her handicap was also reduced by one.
