BRIDPORT Evolution have been presented with their 2013/14 kit by new sponsor Shield.
Shield, who manufacture red dot reflex sights for the military and leisure shooting sectors, have been linked with the club for a number of years and currently employ 27 people locally.
The company’s sponsorship has provided the club with a full team kit, including shooting shirts, complete with numbers and the new club logo.
The future looks bright for both the club, who are preparing for a new season in a new league, and Shield, who have just won another significant contract to support the UK military.
Director of Shield, James White, said: “We have been associated with the Bridport Evolution basketball club for many years and we have always been happy to help where we can.
“I hope the new kits will give the whole team a boost and help them look the part when they take to the court next month.”
The kits also feature the new club logo created by local independent business MT Designs.
Coach Tom Glover said: “It’s great to have the support of Shield once again and also to incorporate our fantastic new club logo into the kit.
“Everyone in the team is really excited to get playing now and I think it has been a big morale boost for the squad. Some players have even talked about getting the new logo tattooed onto them.”
Bridport begin their new season on Sunday, September 22 at home to the Exeter Nomads.
The team train every Monday, 7pm at Bridport Youth Club, and new players are always welcome.
