IMOGEN Burwood didn’t bring back a medal from the TI Taekwondo World Championships in Coventry, but she was thrilled to represent her club and country at such a big event.
Not far off 2,000 competitors from around the globe took part in the tournament with fighters flying in from the likes of Canada, Russia, USA, Brazil and South Africa to take part.
Burwood is now looking forward to the South West Championships in October where she will compete alongside younger sister Ella, with both aiming to claim a medal.
In the meantime, they will be training hard in readiness for the championships and Burwood is hoping to achieve her blue belt at the next grading this month.
