An issue has affected users of the social media service Instagram, where people are being stuck in a loop of watching their friends' Instagram Stories.
The problem appears to be that people are having to re-watch all of someone’s Stories before they’re able to see new ones.
Instagram forgets where you left off when viewing someone’s Stories, showing them from the beginning when someone uploads a new story.
For example, if one of your friends has posted five separate stories that you've already looked at, then if they post another one you would have to watch from the beginning.
As reported by Metro, this is an issue that has been affecting users since yesterday (June 14), with many taking to Twitter and Reddit to complain.
Instagram-owner Meta confirmed the glitch to Verge and said they were "working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible".
It is unclear how many users of the service have been affected by this problem.
One user tweeted: "rewatching Instagram stories over and over again is my personal hell.
Another put: "Can Instagram stories stop glitching I’m tired of watching the same stories 47,000 times."
