The list of the top 25 most chilled out staycation locations in the UK has been revealed.
Camper rental company PaulCamper identified the most stress-free locations with the Gloucestershire town of Cirencester earning the top spot.
Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire came second with Tunbridge Wells, Kent in third place.
Big hitters like Southampton, Exeter, Canterbury, Oxford, Cambridge and Dover all made the list, but didn’t get into the top 10.
PaulCamper analysed a number of factors including tourist figures, green space, average rainfall and Covid cases.
Steven Hagenah, UK Country Lead for PaulCamper, said: “Staycations are bigger than ever, and after so long stuck indoors and juggling video calls, social media and TV streaming, there’s no better time to hit the open road, and explore the great outdoors.
“Plus, with the kids going back to school right now is the perfect time for grown-ups to get away and chill out.
“These stress-free locations offer the best opportunity to truly unwind, de-stress and enjoy the peace and rejuvenating effects of clean air, green spaces, low traffic and feeling safe.”
