GET voting for your favourite design to become the new logo for The Hub youth centre.

The shortlisted designs are now available to view on The Hub’s new website, launched last week at the Woodroffe School.

Earlier this year project leaders invited people to come up with a new logo for the centre and around 150 entries were received, designed either by hand or digitally.

The youth consultation group chose their top five and these are now on show at www.hublyme.co.uk You have until June 1 to vote for your favourite.

The new website has been designed by Woodroffe School art student Ed Low, in consultation with media students, InSPARation Youth Café volunteers and members, The Hub consultation group and primary schools.

It went live last Thursday and will feature progress reports on the building programme, fundraising, and any activities that might be of interest to young people to help develop their skills.

Hub project manager Fran Williams said: “The Hub is providing young people with the opportunity to be actively involved behind the scenes, helping to shape its future into the next phase of development.

“Although the doors are not open yet everybody is working hard towards it.”

Any young people who would like to be involved in The Hub can contact Mrs Williams at fran@lrdt.co.uk
