Lyme Regis harbour and Monmouth Beach provided the inspiration for a group of amateur photographers to produce these images.
As part of Maritime Lyme, News freelance photographers Peter Wiles and Maisie Hill led a one-day workshop with 13 keen photographers.
On a fine spring day, the group spent time around the harbour and along Monmouth Beach looking for subjects that would make striking images.
The day, which was also a Lyme Regis ArtsFest event, provided an opportunity for photographers to develop their skills supported by advice, suggestions and discussion with Maisie, Peter and the rest of the group.
At the end of the day, the group got together to look at and discuss each other’s photographs.
Maisie and Peter said: “The selection of photos here shows the amazing individuality that the group brought to the pictures, revealing different aspects of Lyme Regis, although all were taken at the same location on the same day.”
They will be leading another photography day on October 8. Please contact Peter on peter@lymescapes.co.uk or Maisie on 01297 443069 if you would like further information.
