Almost 300kg of children's clothing, toys, books and DVDs were given new homes, benefitting more than 200 children.
Non-profit social enterprise Little Green Change held its annual Children's Christmas Give and Take event in Lyme Regis, thanks to funding from the town council.
It smashed last year's event figures, with more than 200 children directly benefitting from the items taken this year, rehoming 297.02 kgs of children's clothing, toys, books and DVDs.
Clare Matheson, Founder and Director of Little Green Change said, "I want to say a huge thank you to everyone that helped make this event a success including all the generous residents that donated so many high-quality items, our amazing volunteers, and our event funder.
"It was a huge team effort and one which makes us proud to be based in the wonderful town of Lyme Regis."
Little Green Change employees were joined on the day by volunteers from the River Lim Action Group, All Saints C of E Primary School, and Dorset Council, all of whom helped sort and lay out the items that had been donated by residents.
A follow-up children's give-and-take session will be held in Axminster. Details to be published on Little Green Change's social media or mailing list.
