Residents in west Dorset are asked to be prepared for flooding as Storm Bert causes heavy rain across the county.
A number of flood warnings have been issued, particularly for the coast and areas around rivers.
There are reports of pools of water on the A35 between Bridport and Lyme Regis.
This risk will be elevated between 6pm this evening and 2pm tomorrow.
A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: "Flooding is possible as the River Wey, and its streams are forecast to rise, due to prolonged, heavy rain.
"We anticipate river overtopping and flooding of nearby land, roads and buildings in the Wey Valley areas."
Additionally, sea levels will be high as a result of strong winds, and flooding is possible across the east and the west coast of Dorset. Be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous.
Flooding is also possible for west Dorset rivers and streams, as water levels are rising.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Lim, River Char, River Winniford, Simene River, River Brit, River Asker, River Mangerton, River Bride, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the Rivers Lim, Char, Winniford, Simene, Brit, Asker, Mangerton and Bride.
People are advised to never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast-flowing water is enough to move your car.
