As temperatures fall below freezing, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice across Dorset.
Icy patches are expected to form this evening and overnight. The yellow weather warning will end at 10am tomorrow.
People are warned to expect icy patches on roads, pavements and cycle paths.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Rain, sleet and snow will continue to clear southwards across England and Wales with clearing skies to follow.
"Temperatures are expected to fall below or close to freezing quite widely across the warning area with icy patches forming on untreated freezing surfaces."
Dorset Council has triggered its emergency cold weather provision for rough sleepers.
A spokesperson for Dorset Council said: "Due to a drop in temperatures, we have triggered our emergency cold weather provisions for rough sleepers.
"We want to do all we can to support anyone who is sleeping on the streets or who is rough sleeping.
"If you know of someone who is sleeping rough; whether they're a relative, friend or a stranger, you can tell us about them by visiting https://thestreetlink.org.uk/ or call our Housing Advice Line on 01305 221000."
