Police are continuing their investigation after a ball bearing smashed through a conservatory window last month.

As previously reported by the Bridport News, elderly couple Nick and Iris Gregory were left ‘shaken and frightened’ after a 'bullet' smashed through their conservatory window in Wanderwell, Bridport, last month.

A double-glazed window in the conservatory was shattered before it got lodged between two panes of glass.

Now, it has been revealed by a spokesperson at Dorset Police, that the force are yet to make an arrest following the incident, with no update on the case at this time.

The couple were left shaken and ‘frightened’ following the incident, as Mr Gregory was sat in his usual chair in the conservatory directly in the line of fire and feared he would have been struck if the bullet had travelled any further.

They believe the shot may have been fired from an area close to the Crown Roundabout which is behind their home. A lane runs to the rear of their property up towards the car park of the Crown Inn. Armed police were called to the scene originally.
