A woman has been issued with a conditional caution after being found in possession of class B drugs.
As reported by the News officers carried out a warrant on a Bridport home, locating cannabis and a set of weighing scales.
The raid was undertaken by nine officers from the local policing team and the Force Support Group.
Once investigations had been carried out within the property, the resident returned home. She was arrested at the address and subsequently de-arrested.
After assisting officers with enquiries, she has now been issued a conditional caution.
A conditional caution is an out of court disposal issued by the police and is essentially an alternative to a prosecution where the case may be relatively minor and where the police or CPS feel it is appropriate.

If a condition is not complied with, and there is no reasonable excuse for this, then a prosecution can be commenced for the original offence.
