Hundreds of people gathered to line the streets of Lyme Regis to pay their respects on Remembrance Sunday.
Commemorations began with a Remembrance Day Parade from 9.45am, which was led by mayor, Cllr Philip Evans, the civic party and members of the Lyme Regis Royal British Legion.
Proceeding along Marine Parade, the parade moved down to Bridge Street and Church Street, before moving to St Michael’s Church for a special service that began at 10am.
The groups taking part in the parade included members from the Lyme Regis RNLI, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, Lyme Regis youth football teams, and town crier Alan Vian- along with hundreds of locals.
The large procession then gathered at the clock tower in the seaside town for a poignant two-minute silence from 11am.
