Fire crews from Dorset were called to a blaze at an industrial estate in Axminster.
Crews from Lyme Regis and Charmouth Fire Stations were called to the fire at a commercial premises on Millwey Industrial Estate at 2.42pm today.
A kerosene-powered steam cleaner had caught fire and spread to a sandwich panel construction on the property.
A spokesperson for Axminster Fire Station said: "Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call from a commercial premises on Millwey Industrial Estate reporting a fire within the property.
"Control immediately mobilised a number of crews to attend alongside a supporting officer.
"Once on scene crews confirmed a fire within a kerosene-powered steam cleaner that had self-extinguished, however, the fire appeared to have spread into the sandwich panel construction of the property.
"Crews then set about exposing the sandwich panels to check for fire spread using a triple extension ladder, thermal imaging cameras and small tools.
"Fortunately it was found there was minimal amounts of heat damage to the external fascia boards and a small amount of fire damage to the sandwich panels themselves.
"Following a thorough check of the premises crews ascertained the fire had not spread further and left the property following suitable safety advice being given to the members of staff on scene."
