MORRISONS has been given the go-ahead to extend its sales building and add electric vehicle charge points to its service station at West Bay Road, Bridport.
Dorset Council has agreed a planning application which will see an extension on the town side of the existing sales building totalling 60 square metres.
The electric vehicle charge points, four machines each capable of charging two cars, will be installed in the existing small car park opposite the garage, involving the loss of around a dozen existing car parking spaces.
