Beaminster has marked Remembrance Day with a parade and church service this afternoon.
Later than most, Beaminster held its parade at 2.30pm on Remembrance Sunday and went from the fire station to St Mary's church.
It was led by HMS Heron Royal Navy Volunteer Band and after the parade, families and veterans gathered at the church for a special service after a wreath laying service at the town's war memorial.
Candles were lit and placed in a wooden cross to represent the number of servicemen from Beaminster who died in both world wars.
The Service of Remembrance was then followed by tea, cake and a raffle - all in aid of The Poppy Appeal.
Tomorrow, Monday, November 11, there will also be an Armistice Day Service at the Beaminster War Memorial from 10.50am.
