Large crowds lined the streets in Bridport to pay their respects on Remembrance Sunday
Residents, servicemen, veterans and councillors observed a two minute silence to mark the sacrifice of those who lost their lives in war.
The annual Remembrance Parade and Service was organised by Bridport Town Council, Brigadier John Dean, Bridport Team Ministry and a range of forces, community groups, and volunteers.
Representatives and veterans of HM Armed Forces, and local groups and organisations marched through the town centre, accompanied by the Wessex Military Band.
It started at East Street at approximately 10.40am following inspection by the Town Mayor, Cllr Anne Rickard.
Bridport mayor, Cllr Anne Rickard led the parade from East Street to the war memorial outside St Mary's church on South Street.
Following the parade a two minute silence was held along with a wreath laying service and the mayor's address and Service of Remembrance.
