A remembrance service and parade is set to take place in Beaminster this Sunday to honour veterans and those who lost their lives in the war.
Beaminster Remembrance Sunday celebrations will take place later than most events with a parade at 2.30pm
The parade will be led by HMS Heron Royal Navy Volunteer Band and after the parade, there will be a church service at St Mary’s Church , followed by tea, cake and a raffle all in aid of The Poppy Appeal.
On Monday, November 11, there will also be an Armistice Day Service at the Beaminster War Memorial from 10.50am.
