Representatives and veterans of HM Armed Forces, and local groups and organisations will march through the town centre during the parade, accompanied by the Wessex Military Band.

The Mayor will then lead the parade, and the traditional two minute silence at the War Memorial which will be followed by a wreath laying, along with the Mayor’s address and the Service of Remembrance in St Mary’s Church.

There will be road closures in place throughout the town centre to allow the parade to take place safely from 10.30am until approximately 1.00pm.

Residents and visitors to the town centre are asked not to park in the vicinity of St Mary’s Church after 7am on morning and road closures will be lifted as soon as it is safe to do so.
