A problem with a van made it lose control and hit a parked car in Charmouth.
The crash happened at around 5pm, with the fire service and police attending the crash on Axminster Road.
The fire service said that although the damage to both vehicles was 'quite severe', nobody was injured.
A spokesperson for Charmouth Fire Station said: "This is our second shout of the day, this time to a two-car road traffic collision in Charmouth. A problem with a van made it lose control and it hit a parked car.
"Nobody was injured in the collision but the damage to both vehicles was quite severe.
"Crews made the vehicles safe and awaited the arrival of the police before handing over the scene to them and returning to the station at 7.30pm."
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 5.10pm on Tuesday, November 5 of a two-vehicle collision on Axminster Road near Charmouth.
"Officers attended and there were no reports of any injuries. The vehicles were recovered and police left the scene at around 8.45pm."
