Following the circulation of an online video, police are investigating reports of illegal fox hunting.
The alleged fox hunting happened in the Drimpton area near Beaminster on Saturday, October 26.
Footage of the incident has been circulating online.
A spokesperson for the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said: "We are currently investigating a report of illegal fox hunting in the Drimpton area near Beaminster on Saturday, October 26.
"We are aware of footage circulating online in relation to this matter and we are carrying out detailed enquiries to compile evidence and take any appropriate action required.
"We wish to be clear that we will investigate any alleged breaches of the Hunting Act 2004 and other legislation and work closely with the Crown Prosecution Service to determine if a case could be taken to court."
