A large police presence has been reported at an unlicensed music event in west Dorset.
A photograph from the Dorset Police Special Operations team, which was released at around 11am this morning, shows a police car, a Force Support Group van from Weymouth, and an anti-interceptor car on Berne Lane, at the turn off to Stonebarrow Lane in Charmouth.
Police have also sent up drones to aid in their investigation.
An unlicensed music event (UME) is an unlawful and unregulated gathering where often loud music is played for several hours.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Officers from Weymouth FSG, including drones, and Traffic are in attendance at a reported Unlicensed Music Event in Charmouth.”
Dorset Police have been approached for further comment on the incident.
