Towns in west Dorset will be celebrating Bonfire Night with epic fireworks displays taking place tonight.

Both the Bridport Rugby Club and the Lyme Regis Fireworks display will take place tonight from 6pm and 6.30pm respectively.

Here’s all the details you need to know ahead of your visit:

Bridport Rugby Club's fireworks display:
The annual fireworks display at Bridport Rugby Club on Skilling Hill Road will go ahead tonight, with gates opening from 6pm.

Organisers have announced that the display, which starts at 8pm, will be followed by live music from the Hustle. Refreshments of hot food and drink will be available.

Entry is £5 per adult, and £2.50 for children ages six-years-old and under.

Lyme Regis Fireworks Display:

Lyme Regis are also hosting their bonfire night festivities tonight with a display on the Cobb.

The free to attend event is organised by the Lyme Regis Carnival and Regatta committee and will start at 6.30pm.

Although the event is free, donations to the organisers are encouraged to help ensure that future displays go ahead. Any surplus money raised for the event is given away to local groups and charities and last year, organisers gave away £22,500 to 31 different groups.
