A person had to call for help after suffering a nasty ankle injury on a trip to the coast.
Two coastguard crews from West Bay and Lyme Regis were called to the rescue of the person yesterday near to Golden Cap, which is approximately 191 metres high.
They were safely located by coastguard volunteers who provided additional care.
A spokesperson for West Bay Coastguard Rescue Team said: “We were paged alongside Lyme Regis Coastguard to reports of a person with an ankle injury in the Golden Cap area.
“The person was located and left in the care of our colleagues from Lyme Regis.”
